2018 Chengdu NEPCON Exhibition

Reed Exhibitions Shanghai Branch (Reed Exhibitions Shanghai Branch) first introduced NEPCON to China in 1982. Building on over 30 years of successful experience, the NEPCON series of exhibitions has grown into one of Asia's longest-standing electronic production exhibitions and is currently the only electronic production equipment industry exhibition fully supported by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the global SMTA Association.

The NEPCON China series covers major electronic industry centers across the country, including: NEPCON China held in Shanghai, NEPCON South China held in Shenzhen, and the Bohai Rim Electronics Week held in Tianjin.

Scope of Exhibits

Surface Mount Technology Zone: printing equipment and accessories, placement equipment, component feeding systems, conveyor systems and accessories, chip carriers, packaging equipment, curing systems, vision positioning systems, adhesive and coating materials, related chemicals, and production line tools.

Dispensing and Spraying Zone: a process, also known as adhesive application, coating, potting, or dispensing, which involves applying, potting, or dropping electronic adhesives, oils, or other liquids onto products to achieve bonding, potting, insulation, fixation, surface smoothing, and other functions.

Smart Manufacturing Zone: smart manufacturing systems not only continuously enrich their knowledge base in practice but also possess self-learning capabilities.

Electronic Manufacturing Automation Zone: industrial robots, motion control equipment, machine vision and sensing technology, transmission equipment, automation equipment/accessories, assembly materials, system integration/non-standard automation equipment, industrial automation information technology and control software, and industrial safety.

Printed Circuit Board Zone: the provider of electrical connections for electronic components. It has a history of over 100 years; design primarily involves layout design; the main advantage of using circuit boards is a significant reduction in wiring and assembly errors, improving automation levels and production efficiency.

Maker Zone: customer-centric, focused on personal design and personal manufacturing, specifically referring to individuals with innovative concepts who are self-employed entrepreneurs.

Testing and Measurement Zone: 2D/3D inspection systems, bare board testing equipment, film thickness testing equipment, ICT equipment, AOI equipment, infrared inspection equipment, chip frame inspection equipment, optical microscopes, PCB visual inspection equipment, solder joint visual inspection equipment, etc.

Integrated Circuit and Semiconductor Zone: using a specific process, the transistors, resistors, capacitors, inductors, and other components and wiring required for a circuit are interconnected and fabricated on a semiconductor wafer or dielectric substrate, then encapsulated in a housing to form the required circuit.
